About Phoenix School

Shree Mahakali Education Society is the brainchild Mr. Vivek Patil. It is running 33 schools and 5 sister-concern schools. Phoenix Public Residential School (ICSE and ISC) is one of them.

The School started in 1987 at Vadagoan, later shifted to Nehru Nagar, from 1989 up until 2004, On 12th February 2004, the premises of Honaga was inaugurated and shifted to a new campus. The school has been running for the last eighteen years at Honaga. The campus has an area of forty acres, which is in the middle of nature surrounded by hills and a nearby lake.

Phoenix believes in Vasudeva Kutumbakam which means Universal family believes in secularism in encouraging intellectual and cultural diversity, and aim at developing our pupil’s sense of responsibility towards the wider community. It is also our aim to offer a dynamic environment where each student is challenged and encouraged to become a critical and compassionate thinker, dedicated learner for life, a contributing member of the local and global community, showing respect and understanding for other cultures and acknowledging that others can be different and also right.
