Phoenix Hosted Tournaments

Phoenix has also hosted the All- India IPSC Table – Tennis Girls and Boys Tournament (U-14, U-17, and U-19) in the year 2010, Football Boys’ Tournament (U-14and U-17) in the year 2012, Football boys’ Tournament (U-17) in the year 2013 and the Football Girls tournament ( U14, U-17, and U- 19) in the year 2015 for all the IPSC schools

Sports:

Our school has been spread over forty acres of land having large grounds one is for athletic track 400x8 meters.
 

Outdoor games:

Grounds Football for, hockey ground, Cricket, basketball, and volleyball has been specially planned and built accordingly.
 

Indoor games:
Chess, Table Tennis, Carrom, and badminton have also been planned and impaired.

Our school has made its mark and carved a niche in the field of sports, both in Belgaum District and in the State of Karnataka. Prestigious trophies have been bagged by the students year after year.

Achievements

  • Joint Environmental Mission, A nature-based exchange program that involves students from schools around the world. Phoenix public school represented the Indian flag and American friendship Buckingham school, The U.S.A represented the American flag during the JEM session held at Pennsylvania, U.S.A later the American dignitary visited Phoenix School at Belgaum. Ex-Dean-Cum-Principal Mr.J.C Tapan and other members of the JEM Programme organized the function.
     

  • The National Cadent Corps (NCC) Army wing has been started in the school. The students qualify to get the A certificate after completion of NCC training.
     

  • Phoenix Public Residential School has successfully completed 33 years and will continue the process of mentoring the students in the future.
